Greggs is delighted to have partnered with The Allergy Team to launch a new colleague Allergy Forum.

The Forum will work to:

  •   Embed and enhance allergen awareness throughout the business

  • Share best-practice around managing food allergies

  • Share key colleague feedback and suggestions with senior management

The Greggs Allergy Forum

Who can join the Greggs Allergy Forum?

It is important that a range of perspectives feed into the Forum and that it reflects the diverse workforce at the company.

So whether you work in one of our shops, in a manufacturing or logistics site, on the road, head office or if you have personal experience of living with food allergy, we would love for you to join.

If you work for Greggs and would like to get involved, please let us know.

You can join the Greggs Allergy Forum by sending your name to clare.tansley@greggs.co.uk

How will it work?

The Greggs Allergy Forum will meet online, four times a year, for between an hour and an hour and a half. Colleagues will be paid for their time.

Three film crew members work in a Greggs. One has a boom mic, one is operating the camera, and one is sitting with papers in hand. The subject of the film is off camera.

Who are The Allergy Team?

The Allergy Team supports families, schools and businesses to keep people living with food allergy safe. Founder Sarah Knight has two children who both have severe food allergies. The team use their experience of living with food allergy, personal stories and allergy experts to build empathy and ensure key messages stick.

Previous work with Greggs includes helping the team to understand the new rules around allergen labelling on Pre Packed for Direct Sale foods (PPDS), known as Natasha’s Law.
