Getting a Greggs fix gets easier as shop estate grows with 400th franchise opening

Everybody deserves to get their Greggs fix wherever and whenever they want it. That’s why we’re are delighted to announce that we have opened our 400th franchise shop.

Based in Selby, North Yorkshire, we opened a Greggs shop with our franchise partner, Rontec, in July.

The opening is an exciting milestone in our successful franchise model that has enabled us to build our shop estate to more than 2,200 Greggs shops. Over the years, we have developed strong relationships with franchise partners which has proved hugely important for our strategic growth plan to build an estate of 3,000 shops and beyond. 

While Greggs has long been on the high street, our franchise partners allow us to open in motorway service areas, petrol filling stations, educational establishments and smaller high street convenience locations.
