Greggs reaches landmark milestone of 500 franchise shops across the estate

The doors are now open at our 500th franchise shop - making it even easier for our customers to enjoy our delicious products wherever and whenever they want.

Our 500th franchise shop opened in December in a petrol station in Monktonhall, East Lothian, just off the A1 outside Edinburgh, with our franchise partner, MFG.

This is a huge milestone for us as we continue to expand the shop estate in line with our strategic growth plans. It also highlights the success of our franchise model which now accounts for approximately 20% of the total estate.

We have developed strong relationships with 16 different franchise partners, all of which play a pivotal role in our business. These partnerships enable us to accelerate our shop expansion plans, establish a presence in additional on-the-go locations and become even more accessible for our valued customers.
